Headed to the Oregon Coast

Living in Oregon, we usually get down to the Oregon coast a couple of times a year. Sometimes, my wife and I go for a little get away. Other times, we load up all the kids and make a trip of it. It is a gorgeous drive replete with a 15 minute wind through the northern part of Redwoods State Park.

We usually end up in Brookings, but sometimes we go to Crescent City in Northern California, and sometimes we don't make it to the coast at all. This Labor Day weekend, at least Friday and Saturday, we are going to go to Jedidiah Smith State Park in Northern California. It is about 20 miles Northeast of Crescent City. We will then likely go to Church on Sunday in Crescent City or Brookings.

I strongly recommend this state park, if you want a beautiful place to stay and you are in this part of the country. It is great for families, and it has some nice hikes adjacent to the Smith River.

The last time we went to Brookings, we stayed in this nice little bed-and-breakfast called Lowden's Beachfront Bed & Breakfast. There are several promotional products that work well for a Bed & Breakfast to generate positive feelings and repeat business.

The first is wine glasses or other types of drinkware. I'm not a wine drinker myself, but I love elegant drinkware. Choose a beautiful style for a higher end romantic style Bed & Breakfast. Give them away for multi-night stays, and they will sit in the display cabinets of the recipient, and remind them everytime they look of their wonderful stay. They will certainly want to return and recommend the promoted establishment.

Coasters are a nice way to give a premium, and are less expensive to purchase, store and ship.

I also think promotional Christmas ornaments are a sentimental way to promote a Bed & Breakfast.
